ACT!
Connector -- Creating the ModuleThe ACT! Connector works with ACT! on MSDE and Microsoft SQL Server platforms (currently the only platforms available for ACT!). The following should be done before configuring the ACT! Connector (aka DBIO) in OmniRush.
Check your ACT! operating environment
Install the ACT! client on the OmniRush PC
Check that you can log into ACT! and it works properly (you can schedule an activity, complete an activity, create history record, lookup contact)
Now take these steps:
Start the OmniRush Administrator via Start | Program Files | OmniRush Administrator
Log in to the Administrator as the default user (ADMIN) with no password
Right-Click on the OmniRush Server PC and Select “New module”
Select “Database Connector”
Select “ACT!”
