Amazon: Initial Setup

 

Amazon supports many different merchants. Media sellers (books, CD's, DVDs) are supported by the Amazon Marketplace system. Sellers of other goods use the Amazon Seller Central system.

 

ShipRush supports both types of merchants.

 

When setting up ShipRush for Amazon, select the Amazon merchant type (you can set up the other type downstream, if you are both a Marketplace and Seller Central merchant).

 

 

Marketplace Setup

 

During the ShipRush wizard, provide your Amazon login ID and password when prompted.

 

After ShipRush is setup, press the Refresh button in the Order Manager.

 

 Note: If no orders are retrieved, press Refresh again after five minutes or so.

 

 

Seller Central Setup

 

Using ShipRush with Seller Central involves exporting a report from the Seller Central console. ShipRush will import this file when Refresh is pressed in the ShipRush Order Manager.

 

As a first step, establish what folder on your hard drive you will use for this report.

 

During the ShipRush Wizard, tell ShipRush where this folder is.

 

Note: This folder should be empty. It should only contain reports from Seller Central.
