The Combined Shipment feature lets you process a single shipment against multiple orders. This is usually used when a single customer makes more than one purchase, and you want to put all the purchases into a single shipment.
One label (or one multi-piece shipment) is printed for all the orders. The tracking number from this one shipment is posted back to all the relevant orders.
The steps to use Combined Shipping are:
a) Select an order, and click
to add it to the Combined
Shipping panel.
b) Add one or more other orders to the Combined area. Either double click on another order, or click once to select and press the Add to Combined button. At this point, there should be two or more sales in the Combined area:
c) Adjust the service, weight, and dimension in the grid, as needed.
Note that only the first
row, in blue will control the actual shipment. The other orders
in the Combined area do not influence the shipment, but receive the shipment
information from the shipment.
d) Press the
button.
e) ShipRush pops up, process the shipment as normal.
f) All the selected orders are marked as Shipped, and the shipment detail is posted back to all the orders.
Remember the basics
of Combined Shipping:
Only one shipment is processed for multiple orders.
The ship to address and other shipment details are fed by the first order on the list (the one in blue, at the top of the list)
The shipment information can be adjusted in the grid before popping up ShipRush
By default, the
button pops up ShipRush.
To simply print the shipping label without ShipRush, go into Order Manager
Settings and check the option "Print Combined Shipping label without
popping ShipRush."
