Amazon: Initial Setup - Marketplace Type

Amazon supports many different merchants. Media sellers (books, CD's, DVDs) are supported by the Amazon Marketplace system. Sellers of other goods use the Amazon Seller Central system. There are also users of the Amazon Web Store system.

ShipRush supports all Amazon Pro Merchants, including media merchants and Amazon Web Stores. Here are the benefits of being a Pro Merchant

Please follow these steps carefully!

Part 1: Gather Needed Information

1) Go to http://aws-portal.amazon.com/gp/aws/developer/registration/index

2) Log in with the email address and password you use to sell on Amazon.com

3) Accept the Customer Agreement

4) Click the link to go to the Amazon Web Services Home Page

5) Select on the top right: Your Account | Access Identifiers

6) Note THREE pieces of information (copy / paste these items into Word or a notepad file):

a) Your Account Number (in the upper right, under your name -- This is your AWS Account Number)

b) Your Access Key ID (on the right side -- This is your AWS Access Key)

c) Your Secret Access Key (on the right side, you must press "Show" to display it)

Your Secret Access Key should never be emailed or sent to anyone. It is only to be used in ShipRush (in Part 4 below).

Part 2: Complete the ShipRush wizard with this information

ShipRush is now ready to work with Amazon!
