Settings: Rates

To access this screen: Open the ShipRush System Tray menu and select Settings | Shipping Settings, then select ShipRush Settings, then select Rates on the left. Or: Select Settings from the main ShipRush screen.

When shipping and displaying rates, ShipRush can add surcharges and markup amounts to the rate automatically.

Note:  Rates displayed in ShipRush are courtesy estimates of the rate.  The actual invoice rate may vary from the rate shown.  For actual shipment charges, refer to your invoice from the shipping carrier.

Mark Up:  The total rate can be marked up.  The estimated rate can be marked up by a percentage or a fixed amount or both.  Handling charges and minimum charges can also be set.  Mark Up applies to the total shipment cost, not per package.  (E.g. on a multi-parcel shipment, markup is applied to the shipment total cost.)

Minimum Charge:  If the calculated charge is less than the value set here, the set minimum will be used. For example, if this is set to $7, and the shipment calculated rate is $6, ShipRush will return $7 as the shipping charge.

Contract Rates: The Contract Rates section controls whether ShipRush will display published (list price) rates or your account-specific contract discount rates. By default, ShipRush displays contract rates.
