Internet Connectivity

Internet connectivity can be required by different components of OmniRush for different reasons.  The recommended approach is:

• Internet access should be transparent (e.g. no proxy or SOCKS configuration required).

• Required IP ports should be open.  For example, the E-Mail Server Module will require port 25 access either:

• Through the firewall to the Internet (if it runs with the integrated SMTP server), or

• To the local or ISP based SMTP relay server configured in the email module.
