What is a ShipRush-Ready account?
It is a special Endicia account that can only be created through ShipRush. Simply download ShipRush USPS powered by Endicia and install the software. As you go through the setup wizard you will be asked if you have a “ShipRush-Ready Endicia account.” Unless you have previously opened an account through the ShipRush installer you do NOT have a ShipRush-Ready account. At this point you can setup the account right there and then. If you have already opened an Endicia account through ShipRush, select “yes” and enter the account information.

Can I create a ShipRush-Ready Endicia account on endicia.com?
No, you need to create the account the account through the ShipRush install wizard.

I already use Dazzle. Can I use that account with ShipRush?
Have a Dazzle account? Use both ShipRush and Dazzle for $39.95/month. Request that your Dazzle account be complementary (Standard or Premium only). Email your Dazzle and ShipRush-Ready Endicia account numbers to support@endicia.com. If you are running ShipRush USPS powered by Endicia on multiple PC’s you only need one ShipRush-Ready Endicia account. However, the account should only be used at one physical location. If you have multiple offices, each one is required to have its own Endicia account.

What is the difference between ShipRush USPS and ShipRush USPS powered by Endicia?
ShipRush USPS allows you to create a label with USPS Delivery Confirmation. The confirmation numbers are automatically saved into your accounting or CRM system. ShipRush USPS powered by Endicia allows you to print the postage directly onto the label. All you need is a ShipRush-Ready Endicia account. If I have a ShipRush-Ready account do I also need an Endicia Professional account?
No.

Will I get the same discounted rates as I would through USPS online or Endicia Professional?
Yes, ShipRush USPS powered by Endicia will give you the same postage rates as USPS’s Click-N-Ship and Endicia Professional.

What is new in ShipRush v6?
ShipRush is now integrated with Zencart & Paypal. We now offer a Browser Plugin. With ShipRush USPS powered by Endicia (v6) you can print the postage for First Class letters, Flat shipping, and you can even request a USPS pickup!

Can I use ShipRush for Endicia along with ShipRush USPS and other 'flavors' of ShipRush?
Yes! You can run any or all flavors of ShipRush concurrently.

What's the difference between all the 'flavors' of ShipRush?

Can I ship internationally with ShipRush?
ShipRush for Endicia supports International Priority Mail and International Express Mail. It does not support First Class International shipping at this time.

Does is cost more to use ShipRush?
ShipRush saves you money. USPS Delivery Confirmation is free with Priority Mail, and only $0.14 when shipping with other USPS package services. That saves $0.46-$0.50 over purchasing Delivery Confirmation at the post office.

Are there any surcharges with ShipRush?
There are no surcharges when you use ShipRush. You pay only the USPS published rates and not a penny more.

I use QuickBooks and ACT! (or any two or three apps supported by ShipRush). Can I use ShipRush with both?
Not concurrently, no. ShipRush is serialized to a single 'host' application, and you have to enter a different serial # to switch 'host' applications.

The ShipRush philosophy is that you should choose a single application to be the 'hub' of your business. This might be a contact manager or accounting app. In your business, this one 'hub' app is where you always keep address and other information up to date, and it is where tracking numbers will be saved by ShipRush. This is the application you would use ShipRush with.

In any business, it is crucial that everyone go to one application for 'the answers.' If you need an address for the customer Acme Roofing, you should not look in ACT!, and then Peachtree. You should look only in one application, and the whole company knows to keep that one application up to date and maintained.

Many businesses consider their accounting application the hub. This data there is always maintained, and it is the definitive record. CRM-centric firms often consider their contact manager the hub, as it is the comprehensive record of customer contact and interaction.

The important thing is not so much which application is your hub, but that you decide on a hub, and treat your hub well--it is the center of your business!
